Biasing

Presentation

The presentation “Biasing” presents a step-by step method for the design of the biasing of negative feedback amplifiers. The design of the bias sources themselves it not part of this presentation. However, design considerations for such sources will be given.

Students who did not folow the EEMCS BSc program for Electrical Engineering, please study the chapter: Introduction to biasing.

Biasing concept for the active antenna

Presentation

The presentation “Biasing concept for the active antenna” presents the design of the biasing concept for the active antenna. The design of the bias sources themselves it not part of this presentation. However, design considerations for such sources will be given.

Homework

Design the active antenna with differential input stage in which the biasing is realized with ideal sources.

Deliver your homework in the form of a (zipped) HTML report (generated with SLiCAP). The performance requirements (see initial application description) should be verified and commented (in which way are they satisfied or why are they not satisfied).

A pass for this homework will gine you 25% to your homework grade. Your total homework grade makes up 30% of your final grade.
